About me
Hello, I'm Whitney!
I'm a Virginia-based landscape painter, art educator, and university instructor with a passion for capturing light, atmosphere, and texture in the natural world. Over the years, I've taught drawing and painting at both the high school and college levels while continuing my own professional art practice.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to paint landscapes with confidence, whether you're a complete beginner or an artist looking to grow your skills. Together, we'll explore a simple, approachable process for turning scenes from nature into beautiful works of art.
